Coming up to the third year here in Arlington Virginia...Mike says it will be the last....we will see. I am headed once again to Oregon May 12....will plan to be there the rest of the summer. I will miss the friends here as we  are becoming attached to them also. I am hoping some of them will come and visit us. This weekend I am going to go to Maine. I have always wanted to see that state and the opportunity presented itself so off I go. Ben and Mindy and Finley were here last weekend. We had a fast fun three days. Finley is so fun to be with, he is a character. I love being his Granny B!

Well it is a hot day here in Arlington Virginia. 99* at noon with high humidity. I do not even really want to go down to the pool. Hard for me to breath in this heat! I only have about 11 more days before I head to Oregon. I will spend the rest of the summer there. Then back here in September. We are looking forward to our friends Mike and Char coming for the 4th of July holiday. They will get here either Sunday or Monday. Then we will hope it cools a little so being outside will be a little more bearable. We may just be scooting from museum to museum! Mike likes the work he is doing here, he gets in on some exciting conversations. He at times has to do presentations at briefings. Mike will be coming to OR. for a few weeks also we plan to be at our home convention there.

Went to a tea in Redding Calif. to honor Paula Downs 90th birthday, what a pretty day!

Clint surfing, Luke, Ben, Clint, Mindy and Mike all tried it out. We had rainy cool weather but they all wanted to experience it anyway, this is the one real nice day we had while there in March.

Mindy celebrated her birthday while we were all togethter. She and Ben are expecting their first child, but you can't tell it in this picture.

Summer 2010

Well the summer is passing all too quickly. Hard to believe our convention will be here in three weeks and after that the summer usually is pretty much over. We have not had any big trips this summer, I went to Ohio for 5 days, that is a very pretty place. Anyway where I was in Ray, Ohio but it was hot and muggy. So I don't really have a desire to move there. We are in a drought here in Klamath Falls. So things are looking pretty dry. I am not sure if I will have a job at the school this fall, still no word.

Our family went to Lake Tahoe for Thanksgiving. We had beautiful weather for the most part. Rained the first day we were there. This is a group of them that hiked up above the lake.
