Robert E. Lee's mansion, which really was his wifes birth home. The grounds used to be 200 acres of oak trees, but were cut down during the civil war for fire wood etc. His wife stayed as long as she could before evacuating. She was somehow related to George Washington and had many family heirlooms there. The grounds were made in to a cemetary as they needed places to bury the civil war dead.
